This expansion pack enables the acquisition of the actual oil pressure and the display of the acquired measured values with the CUMPAN Cockpit Assistant. By using an adapter, the original oil pressure switch and the corresponding oil pressure signal are retained. This means that there is no interference with the vehicle’s sensors and the manufacturer’s warranty remains intact.
An oil pressure switch only warns when a limit value is undershot (the oil pressure switch installed by KTM at the factory has a warning range below 0.13-0.3 bar).
The BEROTEC oil pressure sensor measures the actual oil pressure in a range of 0-10 bar. A warning threshold can be adjusted at the user’s discretion; if it is not reached, the oil pressure is displayed in red.
